“Shhh… Dr. Hornet has a secret!” – Every character at one point.
Sal and Marty are really excited when they hear that a foreign diplomat is coming for a visit but are let down when it turns out to be Dr. Hornet, the ruler of the nefarious Hornet Nation. That’s right, The Telethon’s main supervillain is visiting on a diplomatic mission, and much to Sal and Marty’s chagrin, is protected by all laws of diplomatic immunity. But all Dr. Hornet wants is to sign a peace treaty with the Telethon after approximately one year of total war (as defined by occasional kidnappings, show take-overs, and bombings).
Marty is a bit suspicious of this spiteful masked figure who hates fish chum and Sal Stevens, but after spending some time with him, he believes that perhaps the villain has turned a new leaf. Sal, however, hasn’t gotten over being kidnapped and tortured for three months by Hornet, and spends the time he’s supposed to be with Marty plotting the good doctors’ demise. When Dumblebee, Hornet’s Wizard Assistant, appears and offers Sal an opportunity to fish chum Dr. Hornet, Sal takes it, even at the cost of the secret Fish Chum Factory codes.
But all isn’t as it seems, and when Dumblebee gives Sal the opportunity to strike, it’s revealed that the fish chum provided to Sal was actually a Snapple. While Sal was plotting, Hornet and Dumblebee used the secret code to spread the awful Tiny Tim’s disease across the world. When Marty confronts Hornet about his treachery, Dumblebee reveals that years ago (as seen in The Sal Stevens Show) Sal tossed acid in Dr. Hornets’ face, turning him into a bitter, angry supervillain. Marty angrily approaches Sal, realizing that this is all his fault, but an outraged Sal explodes at him. Devastated, Marty runs away.
Things seem pretty hopeless now! Sal and Marty are split, and the world has Tiny Tim’s disease. Big win for the bad guys.

-Marty doesn’t like doing crowd work as much as he likes talking about ice cream.
-Dumblebee’s official wizard rank is “Grand Wizard” but Dr. Hornet doesn’t let him use it for some reason.
-Sal’s misplaced anger directed towards a Beverly Crusher action figurine.
